Lola Dueñas

The daughter of actor Nicolás Dueñas and the representative of artists Maria Navarro (closely linked to the path of Isabel Pantoja), studied acting at The Abbey Theatre with Jose Luis Gomez.
Lola debuted in cinema with Mensaka (1998) and, after intervening in the television series Cops, in the heart of the street, became one of the most sought after Spanish actresses, having worked on movies such as The Reasons of My Friends, Stones, Days of football and Chef's. Gained popularity and professional recognition through her work in The Sea Inside, in Alejandro Amenábar and Return of Pedro Almodóvar, who also directs Talk to her and Broken Embraces.
Awarded at festivals in Cannes and San Sebastian, get two separate Goya Awards for The Sea Inside (2004) and Me Too (2009).
